Field sports, such as football, baseball, softball, soccer, and track and field, are great for people who really enjoy playing games that require a lot of concentration, and body strength and power. These are sports that require skills such as running, hitting, jumping, sprinting, kicking, catching, pitching and throwing, to name a few. Only the players who possess these qualities at a high level are chosen to play for professional, national teams and are paid high yearly salaries that range in the millions. These players become famous and are known for the skill that they are good at, whether it be pitching a ball at high speeds, running fast, jumping high, or kicking and controlling a ball, like no other player can. It’s the players and how the fields sports are played that makes them very popular and highly practiced and watched sports. Fans devote their time, effort and money to attend stadiums or events and watch their favorite players or teams play, while at the same time players give their best during games to please their fans and win the games.
Field sports are great for people of all ages and sizes. But, as the popular saying goes practice makes perfect,which is why children who aspire to being part of professional teams when they “grow-up”, have to start early and begin practicing and playing at an early age. This way they can become better players and master the skills they may need or are good at. Not every sport is for everyone, but there is a sport out there for each individual. |
