Basketball is a sport that is highly played and watched. People in all parts of the world practice the sport, mostly in the continent of North America, where there are national teams from almost every state of the United States that compete against each other every season. The NBA or National Basketball Association is the best known men’s national league, which includes thirty teams. The NBA is currently underway in the United States, where playoffs are being played every week. Each team is fighting to win the championship.
Many children aspire to being part of the NBA and play for their favorite team, but they have to start early and begin playing and practicing at an early age so that they can master all the skills and become great players. Other people simply enjoy watching their favorite games on television or in-person.
Michael Jordan is a player that is the most popular and most remembered due to his remarkable ability to play the game with great skills. He played for the Chicago Bulls and was a great contributor to the many championships that team has won. After playing basketball for many years, he tried playing professional golf, but he wasn’t good at that sport, at least not like he excelled at basketball, so he gave it up and returned to the game of ball. He will be a big part of basketball history and will always be remembered as one of the best, if not the best player of all time. |
