Bungee jumping is an activity that many people will never try in their lifetime due to its extremity. I’m sure we’ve all heard a lot of stories of and seen a lot of people jumping off high altitudes into the air only supported by a rope; and even though it may look really scary, there are those daredevil people who will still have the guts to do it. They may get really nervous when they are up there, but the majority of them will still jump off, and not pull back. There are only a few who decide not to do it after all. Of those people who do go through, some may want to do it again, others may not. It all depends on whether they enjoyed their first experience, or not.
The best way to have a good experience while bungee jumping, without getting scared is to not look down and not think about the initial jump; people should just walk-off the platform without too much thinking. Staying calm helps the muscles relax and helps avoid any strains or injuries to the back or neck, so this also helps make it a more pleasant activity. As long as the team providing the bungee jumping opportunity knows what they’re doing, prepares the jumper both mentally and physically and makes him aware of what to expect and advices him of how the experience will be, and everyone follows all safety precautions, the person jumping off shouldn’t have any problems and should have a good experience. |
