Climbing can be a fun activity, but it can also be very extreme and dangerous. There are many types of climbing. There is rock or mountain climbing, rope climbing, ice climbing tree climbing, pole climbing, among others, which people can enjoy as a competitive sport, or just for fun. While there are also people who must climb for work-related reasons. Climbing requires movement of the entire body, especially the legs and arms to help the climbers move themselves up to reach their destination up-top. It requires a lot of body and mind strength.

People can experience indoor rock climbing, which most of the time is done on artificial rocks, or they can have a real climbing experience by going outdoors and climbing real rock mountains. Indoor climbing is usually less expensive, doesn’t require any previous experience or good physical condition, nor does it require the use of any special attire or equipment. The straps and gear are provided by the individuals offering the artificial rock climbing experience. On the other hand, people who prefer outdoor rock and mountain climbing as an extracurricular activity, must have a lot of practice, training, special equipment, and be in good physical condition. Buying all the gear and equipment needed, and traveling to far-away areas where there are rocks and mountains to climb, as well as paying for some instruction, can be very costly. Yet, many people enjoy climbing, no matter what measures they have to go to, and whether it is done inside or outside.
